- Discuss upcoming MA Convention in Atlanta, Oct. 9 - 11.

- Improve service role handover and documentation.

- Reassess chairperson advisor role and sobriety requirements.  

New Business    

- Motion to add an asterisk next to each name on the Meeting Chair List if that meeting is available for a new chair. 

- Motion to change the script:  

Service is an important part of recovery. Do you need a service commitment in our program? If you have 60 days of continuous sobriety, you can chair a meeting. Check out available meetings on ma-phone.org under MAWPM Meeting Chair List and  and are interested in chairing a meeting or being a substitute chair, there are several meetings with no chair, particularly 10 am, noon, and 8pm meetings. Rreach out to our Chairperson Coordinator, Morgan, at 919-264-1466.

- Motion for Co-chairperson Advisors: 

     - Motion for Cheryl to train new chairs using the app.

     - Motion for Rick to train new chairs using the phone.   

- Discuss open and opening positions for interest.    

- Discuss tracking time of members in service roles (except meeting chairs).

- Motion to rename Reading Room meeting to "A New Leaf Reading Room" and change its format to feature readings exclusively from A New Leaf magazine. 

Announcements

- MAWPM positions of Console Administrator, GSR, and Chairperson Advisor are open.

- The District positions of Secretary, HIPI Chair, Assistant Web Administrator, and Alternate MAWS Delegate are available
